April 2001. Archie Thompson of Australia scored 13 goals, breaking the record
for most goals scored in an international match by a player, and the team set a
world record for the biggest win in an international football match.
This match was one of the worst defeats in the history of
football, prompting FIFA to change the rules! It was, in truth, the biggest
loss in an international match, and it came in the 2002 World Cup qualifiers.
FIFA also implemented a preliminary round in Oceania as a

It should also be remembered that Philippe Coutinho, a barca
player who kicks the ball on loan for Bayern, was the player who scored two
goals for his team with the second one just a minute before the end of the
game.
However, that was not the end and the Bavarians scored 6
more goals in the next 83 minutes of the match, while only Luis Suarez could
score a goal for the hosts!
The Blaugranas were all expected to win the game, or finish
