Olivier Giroud Caught Discussing Timo Werner Miss With Thibaut Courtois

Olivier Giroud and Thibaut Courtois were caught discussing Timo Werner’s miss from four yards during half of the Champions League semi final on Tuesday.

In part it was down into a huge miss from Werner with only nine minutes on the clock. From just four yards outside the German struck his shot former Blues number one Courtois, who saved with his legs. Chelsea’s dominance in the first leg of the Champions League semi with Real Madrid could not be turned into a success from the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano. The miss directed Thiago Silva’s spouse to rant about how the prior RB Leipzig striker, stating”Every group I go to there’s a striker who keeps missing goals,” causing us to question which strikers she loathed at PSG and AC Milan.

Werner’s miss was such a large moment that even Giroud and Courtois were talking it at the tunnel at half time, with the horn keeper shrugging off any compliments by saying”All I did was put my foot out like this,” according to RMC.

According to the French newspaper, the trade ended with the former Arsenal striker exclaiming,’Incredible,’ to his former teammate. Though contemplating that the Germany striker’s form this season, it’s reasonable to say he’s at least partially to blame.

Maybe rather than attributing Werner for missing the chance, Giroud is going with all the thought process that it was down to some good save by his former aide.

“But it will not help crying about it regretting it all of the time”

Speaking after the match, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel talked about Werner’s functionality, stating,”He missed a huge one at West Ham and now he’s missed a big one here, that does not help. “There are millions of people who’ve more difficult things to deal with than chances that you overlook. So the good thing about sport is that nobody cares tomorrow, now we were miserable and angry at the moment – this is normal. “He’s sad, he is frustrated and angry. Tomorrow he has a free day and the following day that he has to place his chin up. He’s a top man, a professional man. He works hard. He is in the positions. He won’t quit believing. Everyone accepts the situation like it is. With strikers, if you examine the next match, nobody speaks.”

His side just require a 0-0 draw to create only their third Champions League final, and first since winning the contest at 2012, and he would confront his former side PSG only a year after accepting the French winners to the closing.

Chelsea did not have too long to consider the 25-year-old’s overlook, together with Christian Pulisic placing the Blues forward only a couple of minutes later. Tuchel will probably be hoping for a similar performance by his team when Actual travel to Stamford Bridge for the next leg next week.
