Barcelona Set To Offload 14 Players In Summer

Barcelona are willing to part ways with as many as 14 players in a vast summer clear-out.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana are preparing to initiate a “remodelling” of their squad next season.

At present, Ronald Koeman’s future at the club has not yet been resolved, and Barca chiefs are still trying to get captain and talisman Lionel Messi to extend his contract for another two seasons before it expires.

But given their poor financial situation, Barca is set to part company with a whole host of first-teamers – whether that means through sales, loans or releases.
