Chelsea have reportedly held talks with Borrusia Dortmund star Erling Haaland over a sensational move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Haaland, believed to be a longstanding primary target for the Blues and undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world right now, could leave Germany if Dortmund receive the right price for the star forward.
And according to journalist Kristof Terreur, the asking price for the Norweigan hitman is thought to be in the region of €180m (£154.5m) – with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich ready to fund it.
It does remain to be seen, however, if the west London club would be ready to pay that much for Haaland – with other top centre-forwards on the market available for more realistic prices.
Speaking to The Football Terrace, Terreur revealed that Haaland’s future remains hard to predict, adding that Chelsea have already been in talks.
“I know that there have been talks with Haaland’s people before, but Haaland is a difficult one to predict, too” he affirmed.
“Definitely, since Dortmund qualified for the Champions League, you feel that now they have an extra reason to keep him.
“But Haaland is the one that everybody wants to get and I would wait for him.”
The 20-year-old is one of the most sought-after strikers in world football – with a number of clubs across Europe keen to claim his signature.
After scoring 49 times inside 52, it should come as no surprise to hear that a small selection of clubs in England and Spain are keeping a close eye on his situation at Dortmund.
Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, has already spoken with a number of potential suitors since last year.
In Italy, Sky Sports News reporter Angelo Mangiante also suggested that Haaland remains Chelsea’s main target this summer.
Romelu Lukaku says he is staying at Inter Milan.

As well as the Blues, Manchester City and Manchester United have been heavily linked with the Norwegian talisman for some time.
Meanwhile, La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are believed to be harbouring a shared interest.
Haaland is under contract until the summer of 2024 after penning a long-term deal with the club upon his arrival – but will Chelsea have the funds to claw him away? Only time will tell.
