Chelsea Set To Offer Tammy Abraham In ‘Swap Deal’ For Erling Haaland

Chelsea is in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund about a spectacular move for Erling Haaland, with the club set to give Tammy Abraham in exchange.

Haaland has sparked attention from worldwide after scoring 49 goals in 52 games, but the reigning European champions are in a prime position to sign the Norweigan star.

According to rumours, the Blues are pondering the bold notion of moving their out-of-favour striker Abraham, as well as cash, for Haaland – but Dortmund is unlikely to be satisfied.

Currently, Haaland, widely considered one of the top attackers globally, has a £64 million release clause in his contract that does not kick in until next year.

Dortmund now has complete control over his future, and any team interested in acquiring him will undoubtedly have to spend well over £100 million to alter their mind.

According to The Telegraph, the west London club is looking into the possibility of using Abraham as a makeweight in a swap deal for the 20-year-old.

However, according to the source, Chelsea has yet to make a formal proposal for the striker.

Abraham’s future in west London appears bleak, particularly after being left out of Thomas Tuchel’s matchday squad on many occasions last season, including the Champions League final.

Like Dortmund players and fellow Englishmen Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, a transfer to Germany might be an opportunity for the 23-year-old to make a name for himself.

On the other hand, Will Dortmund be willing to let their great player depart for a guy who rarely appeared for Chelsea last season? Most likely not.
