Jesse Lingard Watched England’s Match In A Beer Garden And Held A DJ Session

A video of Jesse Lingard cheering on the England boys with fans in his local has surfaced online and it makes for great viewing.

Lingard made Gareth Southgate’s provisional England squad before being excluded from the 26-man party for the European Championship.

Despite not making the cut, the 28-year-old offered his support for the Three Lions and celebrated their victory over Croatia in brilliant scenes.

The Manchester United man, who starred for West Ham last season, shared a picture of himself watching England’s Wembley Stadium opener.

He wore an England shirt with Declan Rice’s name on the back – not to mention a parrot on his shoulder, as he watched Southgate’s charges beat Croatia 1-0.

England resume their campaign on Friday when they host Scotland before closing the group stage phase with a clash against Czech Republic.

Speaking after his side’s win on Sunday, Southgate said: “You know if you don’t win the first game, the pressure ramps up.

“We have two really difficult games left in this group and we made a good step forward today, but [there are] important steps to go to qualify.

“I’m most pleased with the performance.

“Of course the win is important. It was a big occasion, a sweltering hot day and the players settled really quickly, used the ball well and we limited Croatia to very few clear chances throughout the game.”
