Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo: New Study Reveals Who Twitter Users Crowned As The GOAT

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has been named the GOAT by Twitter users ahead of Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, according to a new study.

Former Spain manager Vicente del Bosque recently claimed that the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was the “world’s best.”

However, the 70-year-old Spaniard insisted that his praise for Messi was not a dig on Ronaldo.

Bosque told Canal Sur (via Marca): “Lionel Messi is the world’s best and that is not [a] slight on Cristiano Ronaldo.

“He is a kid from the street, from the neighbourhood. One of those who has been playing and mocking you on the field.

“That is why he [Messi] is the best player of the world.”
