Manchester United & Borussia Dortmund Agree Fee For Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have agreed a deal in principle with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, said to be worth up to £73 million.

The 21-year-old has been chased by United for a number of years and he’s highly regarded by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

David Ornstein of The Athletic revealed on Wednesday evening that a deal had been agreed between both clubs.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also confirmed an agreement had been reached.

Sancho will sign a deal until 2026 and all that is left is for him to pass a medical, once England’s Euro 2020 campaign is over.

There is currently no news regarding the number he’d be wearing, with many fans assuming it’ll be the number seven.

Edinson Cavani currently wears number seven and became a cult hero among fans after arriving as a free agent last summer.

Marcus Rashford had United fans dreaming of Sancho transfer news on Tuesday evening with a suspicious tweet.

The United forward was interacting with fans after England’s 2-0 win over Germany and one asked about Sancho.

Rashford said he was “hacked” deleted the yes x tweet but kept this one up

A tweet read “Announce Sancho Marcus,” along with the eyes emoji.

Rashford quickly responded with “yes x” to tease fans.

It since been removed from Rashford’s account and he claims it was a “little hack”… with the news breaking this evening, you have to wonder if he was playing games.

United finished second in the Premier League last season and 12 points behind rivals Manchester City.

Solskjaer is aware his squad needs reinforcements and he’s previously said: “If we want to take up the challenge with City, we need to strengthen our squad.”
