They weren’t the easiest of chances, but you’d expect a player who scored a record 41 goals during the 2020/21 Bundesliga campaign to tuck an opportunity like that away.
The veteran did redeem himself slightly by pulling it back to 2-1 soon after – and in some style – but only a win will do for the Poles if they’re to progress to the knockout stages.
