England made a dream start to their first ever European Championship final as Luke Shaw sent Wembley into raptures with an early opener.
The Manchester United left-back started the move off in his own half and fed the ball to skipper Harry Kane, who switched play out wide on the opposite side to Kieran Trippier.
England attacked quickly in numbers and Shaw continued to maraude into the box before volleying home sublimely at the far post following a perfect pick-out from Trippier.
Fans inside the ground celebrated wildly as Shaw was mobbed by his teammates after scoring the fastest goal in Euros final history.

Shaw, who suffered a devastating leg-break against PSV back in 2015, becomes England’s first goalscorer in a major final since the 1966 World Cup on home soil.
The former Southampton youngster also made further history in becoming the first ever United player to notch in a Euros final.
