Jurgen Klopp Reacts To Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer Saga, Fans Call Him ‘Salty’ And ‘Full Of Sh*t’

Jurgen Klopp appeared to aim a thinly-veiled dig at Manchester United and Manchester City over the ongoing Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga.

Ronaldo has agreed to join Man United amid speculation linking him with a move to Man City.

Both clubs expressed an interest, with The Red Devils beating their cross-town rivals to the signing of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner ahead of deadline day.

The news regarding Ronaldo has stunned the football world, with Liverpool boss Klopp having his say on the situation.

And he seemed to take a subtle pop at both Manchester clubs.

Asked about rumours linking Ronaldo with a move to England, he replied: “I watch that like a supporter, I have no knowledge about it.

🗣”If other clubs can do things like this, it is for now and immediately and that is how some clubs are working.”

“But it’s not about me to judge that. If other clubs can do things for this, it’s not a business for the future.

“It’s for now if it happens and that’s how some clubs work. That’s fine.”

Klopp’s comments to the Ronaldo rumours did not go down well with fans online.

One tweeted: “Conveniently forgetting they broke records for Van Dijk & Alisson to immediately compete. So full of sh*t.”

A second wrote: “The saltiest manager ever.”

A third added: “Man always complaining about others pockets.”

Klopp has been fairly shrewd this summer, only signing Ibrahima Konate in a deal worth a reported £36 million.

Is the German boss right Ronaldo? Let us know.
