Manchester City are set to defend their Premier League title, according to the latest Supercomputer to predict what will happen in the upcoming season.
City walked away with the title in May, when they beat rivals Manchester United by 12 points, to recapture the trophy they lost to Liverpool a year before.
Pep Guardiola clearly isn’t resting on his laurels heading into the new campaign though, that starts against Tottenham Hotspur on August 15th.
The City boss is hoping to add both Jack Grealish and Harry Kane, who didn’t turn up for Spurs’ training on Monday, to his already stacked team.
It’s no surprise then that bettingexpert.com’s Supercomputer has predicted City to be successful in their title defence based on their algorithm.

A bettingexpert.com spokesperson said: “Manchester City are hard to look past as title winners once again, so it’s no surprise that our supercomputer has them top of the pile.
“Chelsea, after last season’s drastic improvement and Champions League success, are predicted to run City closest, while Liverpool and Manchester United make up the top four.
“At the other end of the table, the newly-promoted trio of Norwich, Watford and Brentford are expected to find the step up too difficult.”
If the prediction is right, and all three newly promoted teams do go down, it would be only the second time in history that it’s happened.
In 1998, Bolton Wanderers, Barnsley and Crystal Palace all went down, having been promoted the year before.

Fans are expected to be back in full stadiums this season, for the first time in English football since March 2020, though there are still some Covid issues.
Clubs are reportedly worried about their players not getting vaccinated, and they will potentially be required to by October.
