Thierry Henry Had A Priceless Reaction To Tottenham Being In The Europa Conference League

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry had the perfect reaction to being asked about Tottenham Hotspur’s Europa Conference League campaign.

Henry had two spells with the Gunners, between 1999 and 2007 as well as spending half a season on loan in 2012.

It goes without saying he doesn’t care much for Spurs… that didn’t make its way to Amazon Prime Sports’ studio on Thursday.

The 44-year-old was asked about Spurs’ clash with Rennes by the host before replying: “Sorry who? I don’t know them.”

Henry’s two co-hosts start to laugh as his expression stays blank.

Fans have reacted to the video and they think it could already be one of the season’s funniest moments.

Nuno Espirito Santos’ side couldn’t start Group G with a win and came from behind to draw 2-2 with Rennes.

Loic Bade turned into his own net in the 11th minute to give Spurs the lead before Flavien Tait equalised just 12 minutes later.

Gaetan Laborde put the home side ahead with less than 20 minutes to go, only for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to neatly level the score.

Spurs lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon and Santo made seven changes to his side.

“It was not perfect, but we showed a lot of character and belief to change the result after we conceded,” Nuno said of his changed line-up per The National.

“They are a hard team to play and it is not easy to analyse the game. We had a lot of players out of position.”
