Dusan Vlahovic looks a special, special talent.

The Serbian youngster scored goals for fun at Fiorentina and that prompted Juventus to spend big on him in the January transfer window – around €75 million to be exact.

Max Allegri’s side beat Premier League outfit Arsenal to the signing of the hugely talented striker and they’ve certainly been reaping the rewards in recent weeks.

Vlahovic scored on his Juventus debut in Serie A against Hellas Verona and in his first ever Champions League appearance on Tuesday evening, he did the exact same.

The 22-year-old’s goal away at Villarreal after just 31 SECONDS was pretty darn special as well…

Vlahovic controlled a lofted pass towards the penalty area from Danilo perfectly on his chest, spun and then fired the ball into the far corner on the half volley to give the Bianconeri the perfect start in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

A pure striker’s finish! Per Football Italia, that is officially the quickest goal by a Champions League debutant in the competition’s rich history, a hugely impressive record to set.

Vlahovic is also just the third Juventus player to score a debut goal on Europe’s biggest footballing stage, the other two being Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet.

Well played, Dusan.

Prior to his magnificent strike against Villarreal, Vlahovic had scored 21 goals in 28 games across all competitions in 2021/22.

Eighteen of those goals came in Serie A action and only Lazio’s Ciro Immobile (19 goals) has found the back of the net more regularly in the Italian top-flight this season.
