Liverpool have one step in the Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Inter Milan 2-0 in their last-16 first leg tie at the San Siro on Wednesday evening.
The Reds were not at their best but managed to win the game with two late goals.
Roberto Firmino entered the game at half-time and he scored the opener in the 75th minute.
Andy Robertson swung in a corner and the Brazilian rose glanced the ball past Samir Handanović and into the net.
Mohamed Salah then doubled their advantage seven minutes later to give Liverpool a commanding lead heading into the second leg at Anfield.
There was a comical moment featuring Joel Matip
Firmino and Liverpool’s players ran to the touchline to celebrate.
Matip was warming up on the touchline and randomly decided to smack a few Liverpool players on the head in celebration, including Jordan Henderson.
And Henderson did not look very happy at all. The England captain gave him a very intense glare before shouting a few words at him. Watch the moment below…

What a character Matip is. Whether Henderson forgave him at full-time remains to be seen.
Judging by his face after Matip’s slap, the Liverpool captain may well have taken revenge in the changing room after the game.
Liverpool are now the overwhelming favourites to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
They have one step in the next round and will be looking to seal their progression when they welcome Inter to Anfield on March 8.
The job isn’t completely done, though. Inter are flying high in Serie A for a reason and have the quality needed to test the Reds in the second leg.
