Chelsea got back to winning ways in style on Saturday afternoon.
After back-to-back home defeats against Brentford and Real Madrid, Thomas Tuchel’s side rediscovered their mojo by thrashing Southampton 6-0.
Goals from Timo Werner (x2), Mason Mount (x2), Marcos Alonso and Kai Havertz secured the hugely impressive victory on the south coast.
Chelsea were absolutely ruthless on the day and if anything, the scoreline flattered Southampton.
Pretty much every player in blue dropped a masterclass, with Havertz continuing his spectacular form.
The Germany international has arguably been Chelsea’s best player since the turn of the year and is finally living up to his enormous £72 million price tag.
Havertz was only on the pitch for 45 minutes, but in that time he was able to score yet another goal and bamboozle Southampton players with some breathtaking skills.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man turned into prime Zinedine Zidane for around 10 seconds, leaving James Ward-Prowse and Valentino Livramento chasing shadows with two perfectly-executed roulettes.

Poetry. In. Motion.
Havertz when he’s on song is an absolute joy to watch and Tuchel simply has to build Chelsea’s team around him from now on.
Here’s how fans reacted on social media to the Zidane-esque skills…
Havertz is quickly becoming Chelsea’s main man and it’s hard to see how summer signing Romelu Lukaku gets back into the starting XI on a regular basis.
The Blues faithful will be hoping their dynamic German forward can deliver the goods once again when they travel to face Real Madrid next Tuesday.
Chelsea currently trail 3-1 in the tie after Karim Benzema’s first leg hat-trick and face elimination from the Champions League as a result.
But with Havertz, Werner and Mount all finding form against Southampton, there is hope of an epic comeback at the Santiago Bernabeu.
