Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was filmed having a kickabout with youngsters on a Marbella beach over the weekend.

The 21-year-old, who recently completed a £51 million move to Man City from Borussia Dortmund, was filmed joining the group of lads for a game of keepy-uppy.

The Daily Mail report that Haaland surprised the youngsters by joining in with their kickabout. It seems the Norway international can’t keep himself away from football.

And here’s another video:

It’s nice to see this from Haaland.

He might be earning an eye-watering £375,000 a week these days but he’s still grounded and will join in with a kickabout whenever the opportunity arises.

It reminds us of Haaland’s new teammate Phil Foden, who has also been filmed joining in with various street kickabouts over the years.

Together they have the potential to form a deadly on-pitch relationship from the start of next season.

What number will Erling Haaland wear at Man City?

Haaland, who is likely to take City’s No. 9 shirt once Gabriel Jesus joins Arsenal this week, is widely regarded as the world’s best young striker and his signing was a major coup for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Norwegian, who scored a remarkable 86 goals in 89 games for Dortmund, is expected to score goals for fun in the Premier League.

Defenders at every Premier League club know that stopping the centre-forward won’t be easy. Aside from his finishing quality, Haaland is also powerful and lightning quick.

When will Erling Haaland make his Man City debut?

He could make his first appearance for his new employers as early as July 21, when City take on Club America.

The Premier League champions then face Bayern Munich before the Community Shield against Liverpool on July 30.

City begin their 2022-23 Premier League season with a challenging away game against West Ham, whose players will no doubt be intent on spoiling Haaland’s competitive debut.
