Gabriel Martinelli took the absoulte mickey out of Tottenham with showboating in Arsenal’s 2-0 win

Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners went into the clash knowing a win would see them extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points.
And they got the result they wanted at the home of their fierce rivals as they emerged 2-0 victors.
Arsenal took the lead in the 15th minute after Hugo Lloris turned a Bukayo Saka cross into his own net.
Martin Odegaard doubled his side’s advantage 20 minutes later as his fierce effort from 25 yards out found the corner.
Tottenham improved after the break but they could not find a way past Aaron Ramsdale and fell to defeat.
Arsenal were by far the better team in the first half but it was much more even after the break.
Spurs improved and had numerous chances to get back in the game, but they were denied time-and-time again by Ramsdale.
Despite Arsenal not being in complete control of the match, Gabriel Martinelli decided to showboat in the 68th minute.
A cross-field ball was played to Martinelli and, with no Spurs player around him, he decided to take the ball down in an unorthodox manner.
With the ball bouncing towards him, the youngster turned around and controlled it with his back before racing towards the Spurs goal.
