Jurgen Klopp found a Manchester United ‘contract’ when the club accidentally left it out after their FA Cup clash against Liverpool.
Back in March, Klopp’s men travelled to Old Trafford looking to knock their fierce rivals United out of the FA Cup.
However, the home side came away 4-3 winners after extra time in what was a truly classic encounter between two of England’s biggest clubs.
The defeat by United ended Liverpool’s hopes of winning the quadruple during Klopp’s last season in charge, the German will be departing Anfield when the current campaign draws to a close.
After the match against United, Klopp was pictured holding what looked like a club contract as he arrived to do his press conference.
As it turns out, it was accidentally left by the club after they did a video with popular YouTube star iShowSpeed.
iShowSpeed signed a ‘contract’ during a video posted on social media. BBC Radio Manchester reporter Gaz Drinkwater wrote: “Another funny thing about this. United left the fake ‘contract’ on the table after. Guess who was the next person sat there.”
Drinkwater then posted a picture of a bemused Klopp holding the contract and showing it to the journalists in attendance.

Since the defeat by United in the FA Cup, Liverpool’s season has been derailed.
The Reds have subsequently been knocked out of the Europa League by Italian side Atalanta. They have also lost ground in the race for the Premier League title after losing to Crystal Palace last weekend.
Currently, Liverpool sit third in the league table, two points behind leaders Manchester City.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s match against Fulham, Klopp said: “We will find a way to be positive, to see the chance in front of us and all these kind of things. But then you have to play an opponent who has their own targets, maybe longer time for recovery, all these kind of things, different situations in general.
“That’s the challenge in football because we never play just for ourselves, we always have an opponent. We have to make sure we become that opponent for each team again [that] they don’t want to play against. We made it a bit too easy for three teams in a row and we should change that.”
