Andriy Yarmolenko stopped his Ukrainian team mate from helping Harry Maguire in a peculiar incident during the 4-0 defeat to England on Saturday night.
The West Ham frontman intervened as Yaremchuk offered his hand to Maguire, leaving the England goalscorer on the floor.
The Manchester United centre-back was sat on the floor when the pair exchanged words before Maguire moved his hand away, then seemingly took up Yaremchuk’s gesture.
Yaremchuk then had his hand swiped away as Yarmolenko bizarrely intervened and escalated the situation.

Yarmolenko appeared to be frustrated that Maguire didn’t take Yaremchuk up on his gesture of sportsmanship.
In a pre-match interview, Maguire singled out Yarmolenko as Ukraine’s main goal threat, saying, “we’re aware of the goal record he (Yarmolenko) has for Ukraine”.
He threw Yaremchuk out the way as he shouted at Maguire whilst walking back into position.

England were leading 1-0 at the time, moments before the half-time whistle was blown.
Tensions were bubbling away with Maguire’s gamesmanship angering the Ukrainian captain.
The pair did appear to eventually shake hands and make up at full-time.
After a triumphant display, England now look forward to their semi-final clash against a galvanised Denmark side in front of 60,000 fans at Wembley on Wednesday.
