Manchester United have extended the contract of 19-year-old forward Alejandro Garnacho until 2028.
Garnacho has had a successful breakthrough season, regularly featuring in Erik ten Hag’s starting lineup and scoring four goals with four assists across all competitions.
His notable performance was scoring the winning goal in United’s 2-1 victory over Fulham in November. However, his progress was hampered by an ankle injury, and his absence was felt in the team’s attack.
Garnacho has returned to training, and there is a possibility that he could play against Aston Villa on Saturday as United aims to secure a spot in the Champions League.
Manchester United confirmed the Argentinian had signed a new deal via their officialwebsite on Friday afternoon.

But how much will he earn a week?
Earlier in the season,The Daily Mailclaimed that Garnacho was set to be offered 10 times his current salary.
If reports are to be believed, the teenager would see his wage increase tenfold from £5,000 per-week to £50,000.
While the winger’s pay packet is expected sky-rocket, number one goalkeeper David De Gea is reportedly set to take a pay cut, as Ten Hag attempts to lower the club’s wage bill.
Speaking to the press in wake of signing a new deal, Garnacho credited Ten Hag and his staff for helping him improve as a player this season.
“When I joined this incredible club, I dreamt of achieving my debut, playing at Old Trafford, scoring my first goal and winning trophies with this badge on my chest,” he said.
“I feel very proud and emotional to have experienced these moments already, together with my family who have supported me every step of the way.
“We are all humbled to have this chance to continue our journey at Manchester United and I have already begun to work on achieving the next set of targets and ambitions.
“The manager and his coaching staff have helped me to improve in every way, and with their support, I am developing each day to help the team to be successful.”
Garnacho will hope to add to this season’s achievements by helping secure Champions League football and lift the FA Cup trophy.
