Andre Onana mistake gifts Brentford a goal against Man United, leaving fans infuriated

Andre Onana’s mistake in goal, resulting in Brentford scoring, has left Manchester United fans on social media frustrated and disappointed.

Onana has faced criticism for his recent errors in Manchester United’s Champions League losses to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray. The frustration continued after his blunder in the Premier League match against Brentford at Old Trafford.

During the match, Yoane Wissa attacked Manchester United’s defense and delivered a ball into the box.

Unfortunately, Victor Lindelof’s clearance attempt was unsuccessful, leading to Mathias Jensen having a shot at goal. Onana, however, was unable to keep the relatively tame strike out of the net, which led to further criticism from fans.

Needless to say, Man United fans online slammed the goalkeeper for his part in Brentford’s goal.

One X user wrote: “How can we continue to be this sloppy is unbelievable. Horrible from Onana again.”

A second tweeted: “Casemiro but then Onana. Wow he’s so bad at keeping.”

A third added: “Remember when they said Onana was De Gea’s upgrade.”

A fourth commented: “Literally worse than De Gea.”

Another said: “When’s AFCON starting pls? He needs to leave.”
