Arsenal fans have expressed their frustration and anger towards Ronald Araujo for his reckless tackle on Gabriel Jesus during their friendly match against Barcelona.
The Gunners managed to bounce back from their previous defeat to Manchester United by securing a 5-3 victory over the Spanish giants at the SoFi Stadium.
Goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard (twice), and Fabio Vieira contributed to the impressive win for the Premier League side.
However, the match was overshadowed by the incident involving Araujo and Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian forward was fortunate to avoid a serious injury following Araujo’s clumsy and high tackle.
Nevertheless, the dangerous nature of the challenge left Arsenal supporters fuming at the Uruguayan defender for putting their player at risk.
Reckless tackles like this are always a cause for concern, and it’s understandable that Arsenal fans are voicing their frustration and concern over player safety on the pitch.

Needless to say, Arsenal fans didn’t like the 24-year-old’s robust challenge on Jesus.
One Twitter user wrote: “He didn’t even give a foul let alone a card for that.”
A second commented: “Should be a red card and 7 game suspension.”
A third added: “Araujo should really stop this gimmick it’s only a friendly there’s a time and place for it he’s a weirdo.”
A Manchester United fan referenced Lisandro Martinez, tweeting: “If he was 5’7 and Argentine we’d see everyone on the timeline calling him names.”
Another said: “I’m glad we slapped them 5-3. This is not cool.”
Araujo somehow avoided a card from the match referee, with Jesus fortunately unharmed.
You can understand Arsenal fans’ frustrations over the tackle considering the nature of the game. It was just a friendly match, but Araujo clearly didn’t get the memo.
