Barcelona and Arsenal have released a promo video for their pre-season friendly, but fans are not impressed

Arsenal and Barcelona are two teams known for their on-pitch style, but it seems they haven’t quite mastered the art of beauty in their promo videos.

Despite relatively successful seasons for both clubs last year, with Arsenal securing a runners-up spot in the Premier League and Barcelona making strides in Europe, they are now gearing up for the upcoming season.

Some pundits, are even predicting that Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta’s leadership, may clinch the league title this time, though it could be seen as an attempt to please their Arsenal-supporting boss.

The two sides are scheduled to face each other in the US during their respective tours across ‘the Pond,’ following Arsenal’s loss to Manchester United last weekend.

To build excitement for the upcoming match, they released a video featuring Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Pedri, and Aleix Balde conversing with each other. However, the video hasn’t been received too well among fans.

You can watch for yourself below.

“So cringe. Like something from teletubbies when they zoom into the TV on their belly,” one fan said, comparing it to the popular TV show that Burnley recently used for a transfer announcement.

“It seems someone kept them on gunpoint. This sounds like 5 year old kids reading a script,” joked a second.

A third claimed the promo had done the opposite of what it was supposed to do, adding: “I was going to watch this game but now I really don’t want to.”

“Liquidate both clubs immediately what on earth is this?”, questioned another.

A fourth summed it up pretty well exclaiming: “Actually can’t stand modern football.”

“I think I can speak on the behalf of everyone who watched this cringe video when I say that we could all have done without seeing it,” replied a fifth supporter.

And on one of the player’s complete lack of enthusiasm another fan simply commented: “Bro!!! Martinelli never wanted to do this.”

In addition to hoping for a better outcome on the pitch during the game against the Spanish giants, Arsenal and Arteta’s team are also eager for an improvement in the stands.

During the match against their Premier League rivals, some Arsenal fans were seen involved in fights among themselves, creating a disappointing and concerning situation in front of a record crowd.

Following the game against Xavi’s side, the Gunners have upcoming matches against Monaco and Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.
