Brighton delivered a harsh taunt to Manchester United on social media following their impressive 3-1 victory on Saturday.
The Seagulls secured another significant win at Old Trafford, replicating their home victory over Man United from the previous season.
In the 2022/23 campaign, Brighton won 2-1 against Man United, and this season, under Roberto De Zerbi’s management, they outdid themselves with a 3-1 win against Erik ten Hag’s team.
Goals from Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross, and Joao Pedro sealed the victory on the road, propelling them into fourth place in the table.
Following the result, Brighton taunted Man United on social media, specifically on X (formerly Twitter).
On X, they wrote: “Back to back @PremierLeague wins here. We just love playing at Old Trafford.”

Brighton have 12 points on the board following their victory over the Red Devils.
And speaking after the game, De Zerbi touched on the suffering his side dealt with in the opening 20 minutes.
“In the first 15, 20 minutes we suffered a lot because Man United played in a different way than we prepared for but after that we played a great game,” he said.
Asked how Brighton can comfortably beat Man United, he replied: “Too difficult this question. Quality of players very high, organisation of club, possibility to manage two players per position. I don’t know problem of Man United, I can explain my team. We’re used to working our style.”
