Bruno Fernandes Has Just Scored The Best Free-Kick Of His Manchester United Career

Bruno Fernandes has just bent a lovely free-kick past Jordan Pickford to make it Manchester United 3-0 Everton – it could be the best of his career.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are taking on the Toffees in front of a raucous Old Trafford crowd this afternoon and have raced to a huge lead.

Fernandes decided to get in on the action just before the half-hour mark by standing over the ball just outside the box.

He let rip with an effort that flew past a diving Jordan Pickford and into the net, much to the crowd’s delight.

Mason Greenwood opened the scoring for United after a huge mix-up in the Everton defence.

Full-back Lucas Digne attempted to head the ball back to goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who failed to catch it and let the ball wriggle under his arms.

Greenwood then tapped home into the empty net as Pickford looked on in despair.

Captain Harry Maguire doubled United’s lead moments later as they look to make a statement this season.

Fernandes’ free-kick topped off a dominant first-half from the Red Devils, who entertain Leeds United in their Premier League opener next Saturday.
