Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has addressed accusations of ignoring new signing Andre Onana.
During their pre-season tour in the United States, United faced Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Despite their efforts, United suffered a 2-0 defeat against Real Madrid, with goals coming from Jude Bellingham and Joselu.
However, it is not mentioned in the provided information how Bruno Fernandes responded to the accusations.
During the match, Fernandes was criticised by fans after it looked like he ignored new goalkeeper Onana before a corner was taken.

However, the Portuguese has now responded on social media.

“Nice try to make it look bad.”

After being named the new captain of the club by manager Erik ten Hag, Fernandes said: “Obviously, it’s a great honour.
“The first time [I wore the captain’s armband] was in the Champions League against PSG. I was getting a little bit surprised by Ole but obviously, I said to him at the time it’s just such an honour for me.
“I still have the armband and the shirt from that game because I wanted to keep it for me because this is something that is not for everyone.”
He added: “And it’s something that has to make you proud, has to make you understand that you are in a place where everyone would like to be: playing for Man United. Having the chance to have the armband and having that responsibility is such a big honour.”

United will next face Borussia Dortmund at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada before matches against FC Lens and Athletic Club round off their pre-season fixtures.
The Red Devils will start their 23/24 Premier League campaign with a clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 14 August.
