Cristiano Ronaldo nearly knocked out a cameraman with his free kick during Al Nassr’s Saudi Professional League clash

Cristiano Ronaldo came dangerously close to striking a cameraman with his free-kick during Al Nassr’s Saudi Professional League match.

On Saturday evening, Ronaldo’s Al Nassr team faced off against Al Raed at the King Abdullah Stadium.

Goals from Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and Anderson Talisca secured a 3-1 victory, with Mohammed Fouzair scoring for Al Raed.

In the course of the match, a video shot from the crowd captured Ronaldo’s free-kick attempt missing the goal and hitting a cameraman on the head. You can watch the footage below.

Despite taking a fierce strike from Ronaldo, the cameraman displayed remarkable professionalism by holding onto his camera and attempting to maintain his balance.

Following their victory against Al Raed, Al Nassr climbed to sixth place in the Saudi Professional League standings.

Al Nassr has garnered 12 points from their initial six league matches.

This week, reports have emerged that Ronaldo is preparing to take legal action against his former club, Juventus, over unpaid wages.

According to Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is pursuing the €19.9 million that he was promised by the Serie A club when he agreed to defer his salary during the COVID pandemic.

It is believed that Ronaldo has decided to begin legal action against Juventus after asking for the relevant documents from the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Aside from Ronaldo, another former Juventus player is also set to be about to sue the club.

Defender Leonard Bonucci is set to begin legal action against the club over training conditions.

It is claimed that his lawyers will proceed with the legal action, consisting of a ‘request for compensation for damages due to the alleged lack of adequate training and preparation conditions available to Bonucci’.
