Cristiano Ronaldo nets two goals as Al Nassr clinches victory in the Arab Club Champions Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo played a pivotal role by scoring two important goals as Al Nassr secured victory over Al Hilal in the Arab Club Champions Cup final on Saturday.

This triumph marked Ronaldo’s first major piece of silverware with Al Nassr since his high-profile transfer from Manchester United.

Al Nassr emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Al Hilal, with the final taking place at the King Fahd Stadium.

Although Al Nassr initially fell behind due to a goal from Brazil midfielder Michael, who celebrated with a ‘SIU’ gesture aimed at Ronaldo, the latter’s exceptional performance turned the tide in his team’s favor.

But the five-time Ballon d’Or winner hit back as he smashed home in the 74th minute to level proceedings and to send the game into extra-time.

The Real Madrid legend then put Al Nassr in the lead after heading home in the 98th minute.

The 38-year-old is no stranger to delivering on the biggest stage as he helped his side win the Arab Club Champions Cup.

It’s the latest trophy in the superstar forward’s cabinet, having won league titles in England, Spain and Italy not to mention the Champions League.
