Fans can’t get enough of England’s outrageous rondo as they singled out ONE player in particular from the training drill.
The Three Lions return to action this month as they face Malta and North Macedonia in Euro 2024 qualifiers.
England, who have already booked their spot in next summer’s tournament, take on Malta on Friday before traveling to North Macedonia next Monday.
The England squad have convened at St George’s Park ahead of entertaining Malta.
And they took part in a rondo that sent social media wild as some of the stars of Gareth Southgate’s squad excelled in the training drill. Check it out below:

Palmer, who has starred for Chelsea since his move from Manchester City during the summer, garnered plenty of attention as people online praised his part in the rondo.
One X user wrote: “Way Palmer uses his studs for control & manipulation of the ball is so European-like. English players & leagues are renowned for physicality/intensity/PnP, but we’re moving into a generation of elite technicality. The evolution of English football is beautiful.”
A second tweeted: “Cole Palmer stands out where and when ever I watch him play football.”
A third added: “Lewis and palmer will be a major upgrade for England.”
A fourth said: “The Man City (educated) lads (Palmer, Lewis) and Kane were the ones attempting the ambitious, difficult passes.”
Another commented: “That’s what you call next level. The piggy in the middle is possibly the best RB the Prem ever seen.”
Palmer earns his first England call-up after scoring four goals this season, which includes a penalty against his former club Man City.
He received the news following his side’s thrilling game on Sunday.
“I wasn’t even thinking about an England call-up when I first went to Chelsea. I just wanted more of an opportunity to prove myself. Getting called up is just a bonus,” he said.
“I got the news straight after the match [against Manchester City]. My phone was going crazy because I’ve got some City fans who are mates and family.
“So, I read it… and then I read it again when it was confirmed. I rang my dad straightaway, and he was with my mum. I told them first.”
