Al Nassr’s pre-season has been a mixed bag so far, with a series of varied results for the team and Ronaldo.
They began with victories against Alverca and Farense, demonstrating their potential.
However, their form took a hit as they suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat at the hands of Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo and a 4-1 loss against Portuguese team Benfica.
During their tour of Japan, Al Nassr held their ground against top European teams.
They managed to secure a goalless draw against Paris Saint Germain and a 1-1 draw against Champions League finalists, Inter Milan.
These results indicate their capability to compete against strong opposition.
With the pre-season tour coming to an end, Al Nassr is now preparing for the upcoming Arab Club Champions Cup, which will kick off with a match against Al Shabab on Friday night.
This tournament will provide them with an opportunity to further assess their squad’s strengths and weaknesses before the start of the competitive season.

In a recent interview, Ronaldo closed the door on a potential return to European football.
He said: “I’m 100 per cent sure I won’t return to any European club. They criticised me for coming to the Saudi league, but what happened now? I opened the way to the Saudi league and now all the players are coming here.
“I won’t return to European football, the door is completely closed.”
