Football experts are tipping Harry Kane of Tottenham to complete a move to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United in the upcoming transfer window as they are after the signature of the England skipper.
According to William Gallas Harry Kane will leave Tottenham this summer as they are not currently challenging for silverware.
The England captain, who will turn 30 in July, is being sought after by Manchester United. Kane is still eager to win a major trophy but also has his sights set on surpassing Alan Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals. He intends to remain in England to achieve this feat, despite interest from other clubs.
This summer, Harry Kane will enter the final year of his contract with Tottenham, putting him at a crossroads in his career.
It is likely that his next contract will be the last long-term deal of his career. Additionally, Tottenham will not want to risk losing him on a free transfer next summer.
Gallas, who played for Tottenham between 2010 and 2013, and was on the pitch when Kane made his Spurs debut, was asked by Mirror reporter Genting Casinowhat he would do if he was in the forward’s shoes.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea defender replied: “Harry Kane will go in the summer. Harry Kane has to go. He must go.
“I want Harry to have the experience of lifting a trophy. I want him to lift the Premier League trophy. Tottenham can’t give him that opportunity. Harry has never been a selfish guy; he has always done what is asked of him and has scored so many goals for the club.
“The club haven’t been able to give him what he wants. He has to leave. You can see after that performance [the 6-1 defeat to Newcastle on Sunday], it was a little bit embarrassing, for the players and the fans. The team defended poorly.”

At the weekend, Tottenham suffered a mauling at St James’ Park, and it was one of Kane’s toughest days in a Tottenham shirt. Although the prolific forward did find the net, Newcastle’s five goals inside 21 minutes dominated the headlines.
In response to that result, Tottenham chair Daniel Levy sacked interim manager Cristian Stellini and appointed his assistant Ryan Mason.
Stellini had only been in charge for four games after replacing his ex-boss Antonio Conte just a month ago.

Tottenham currently sit fifth in the Premier League, with Aston Villa and Liverpool in pursuit, six points behind Man Utd in fourth.
They have played two more games than Man Utd. Additionally, they failed to progress far in the Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup.
Since their League Cup triumph in 2008, Spurs have not won a trophy. However, they have finished as runners-up twice in the League Cup, once in the Premier League, and once in the Champions League.
Kane was part of the squad for all four near misses.
After allowing Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club in November, Man Utd are now on the hunt for a new striker.
It’s believed that they are willing to pay Kane £300,000-a-week to tempt him to Old Trafford, which may be his only viable destination this summer.
Kane has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but the Englishman wants Shearer’s record. He said in March: “I’m getting closer, so it’s for sure something I want to achieve. But I try not to look too far ahead in football.”
