Jadio Sancho ‘sent Amadou Onana and Demarai Gray back to Merseyside’ in Man Utd 2-0 Everton

On Saturday afternoon, Everton was easily defeated by Manchester United in their Premier League match, as the Red Devils remained in full control throughout the game.

United was anticipated to effortlessly win over Sean Dyche’s team at Old Trafford, and they managed to do so, winning by a comfortable 2-0 margin. In the 36th minute, Scott McTominay scored the opening goal for United.

With only 19 minutes left in the game, Anthony Martial came off the bench and secured the points for United by scoring the second goal, thus doubling their lead and making their victory safe.

Jadon Sancho floors two Everton players

For the second consecutive game, Jadon Sancho was included in United’s starting lineup.

The English player made a significant contribution to his team’s success, cleverly passing the ball to set up McTominay’s opening goal, and impressing everyone with his performance.

Sancho dazzled Man Utd fans during the first half of the match when he sent two Everton players sprawling to the ground.

It all began in the 21st minute when Sancho received the ball from a teammate and sprinted down the left wing.

Demarai Gray and Amadou Onana chased after him, but Sancho managed to outmaneuver both of them.

Gray attempted to tackle Sancho, but the winger skilfully slowed down, causing Gray to tumble to the ground. Onana was also deceived by Sancho’s change of pace and fell to the turf, just like Gray.

As Sancho continued to advance with the ball, United fans rose to their feet in excitement.

Erik ten Hag was very complimentary of his players when speaking to the media after the game.

He said, per Manchester United’s official website:“That you can deliver this in a third game in six days is a real credit to the team because it was a great performance – great, entertaining football and a win, so I’m really happy with it.

“But we have to be more clinical, more ruthless in the box of the opponent. I think this game should already have been finished by half-time. We didn’t but it was a brilliant performance.

“That’s very good: if you play three games in six days and can deliver this, that’s a big compliment to the team. We were very good in and out of possession – there were many players on the pitch who played at a high level.”

United return to action on Thursday when they take on Sevilla in their Europa League quarter-final first leg tie.
