In their Champions League encounter at the Stadio Olimpico, Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel scored a dramatic 95th-minute equalizer against Atletico Madrid, leading to some fantastic celebrations.
The 29-year-old Italian goalkeeper, who had already scored a goal for Serie C side SS Juve Stabia in 2020, took a daring risk in the dying seconds of the Group E match.
In the very last moment of the game, Provedel headed in the equalizing goal, connecting with a perfectly-placed cross from Luis Alberto.
This achievement made him the fourth goalkeeper in Champions League history to score a goal, and it seemed like he wasn’t quite sure how to celebrate. Witness the remarkable goal in the video below. Incredible scenes indeed.

It was a moment to remember for Provedel, who became the first goalkeeper to score a Champions League goal since Vincent Enyeama following his goal from the spot for Hapoel Tel Aviv against Lyon in 2010.
Hans-Jorg Butt, the former Bayer Leverkusen shot-stopper, scored three goals for three different German clubs in his Champions League career, while Sinan Bolat equalised for Standard Liege with a header in their 2009 game against AZ Alkmaar.
