Fofana immediately signaled to the bench following Nino’s sickening scissor tackle.

The paramedics and physios treated the 20-year-old, with teammate Caglar Soyuncu cutting a distressed figure.

Why on earth are players tackling like this in a pre season ‘friendly’???

Get well soon Fofana 💙 pic.twitter.com/aFbuihqlXz

Some fans are suggesting Nino got revenge following Fofana’s tackle moments earlier.

He accidentally caught him on the Achilles before the Spaniard’s wild tackle.

This is the challenge that Nino got revenge on Fofana for, nobody can tell me different, he had full intent to hurt Wesley despite Fofana accidentally grasing his achilles, Action needs to be taken against Nino, cause this is disrespectful with the intent to harm someone https://t.co/u27vL0QrRl pic.twitter.com/a8fP6UHlpG
