Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Al Hilal, a team in the Saudi Pro League, has made an official offer for Messi, coupled with an extremely high salary.
The club has expressed interest in bringing the PSG star to Saudi Arabia, and Romano has disclosed that they have proposed a mind-boggling salary of over €400m for the Argentina captain.
If Messi were to accept the offer, he would be reunited with his long-time on-pitch adversary, Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently made a lucrative move to Al Nassr following his departure from Manchester United.

Romano has revealed that the Saudi Arabian club have offered the Argentina captain a staggering salary worth more than €400m.

Although there is strong interest in Messi from Saudi Arabia and the USA, Romano has claimed that the player’s “absolute priority” is to continue playing in Europe.
Meanwhile, Barcelona is reportedly waiting for the right opportunity to make a bid for Messi, with the club’s financial troubles well documented.
Romano also revealed that Messi has not accepted PSG’s bid at this time and is seeking “sporting guarantees” before committing to a new team.
After departing Barcelona, Messi joined PSG on a free transfer in 2021 because the Spanish club could not afford to offer him a new contract due to La Liga’s financial regulations.
