Liverpool star Andy Robertson tells a fan to ‘stop f***ing pushing’ while signing a shirt

During Liverpool’s pre-season tour in Singapore, defender Andy Robertson was involved in what appeared to be a tense exchange with a fan while signing shirts at the Singapore National Stadium.

Despite the interest and enthusiasm from Singapore-based fans and those traveling to meet their heroes, the stadium attendance for the match against Leicester was lower than expected, with 28,597 fans in the 55,000-capacity venue.

Liverpool had recorded an impressive 4-0 victory over Leicester, with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota among the goalscorers.

The team is gearing up for the upcoming Premier League season and will face a significant challenge when they take on Bayern Munich in their next match at the Singapore National Stadium.

While signing shirts and giving autographs to fans, Robertson had a brief encounter with one individual that resulted in a rebuke from the player.

The specifics of the exchange were not mentioned, but it seems that emotions were running high during the encounter with the fan.

Nonetheless, the overall atmosphere showed the enthusiasm of the Singaporean fans to meet and interact with their footballing idols.

Robertson rebukes fan on Liverpool tour

The Scotland captain walked towards the stand to be greeted by a huge roar from those – largely Liverpool fans – in attendance.

The left-back got to work signing shirts, autograph sheets and pretty much anything that he was offered.

But there was one moment that saw Robertson tell off one overly-zealous spectator.

After one fan shouted at the defender, he responded by clearly shouting back: “No, stop f***ing pushing!” The fan then appeared to be called back by their fellow supporters.

Andy Robertson is expected to maintain his role as Liverpool’s first-choice left-back in the upcoming season, as the team aims to secure a place in the Champions League qualification positions.

With Jordan Henderson’s departure to Al Ittihad, Virgil van Dijk will take over the captaincy at Liverpool for the upcoming season.

Alongside van Dijk, Liverpool academy graduate Trent Alexander-Arnold has been appointed as the club’s new vice-captain.

The news of his promotion was personally conveyed to him by Jurgen Klopp during a training session in Singapore.

You can watch the emotional reaction of Trent Alexander-Arnold upon being informed of his latest achievement in the video linked above.

This marks a significant moment in Alexander-Arnold’s career, as he assumes a leadership role in the squad and continues to develop as a key player for Liverpool.
