Liverpool’s Massive £86 Million Bid For World-Class Euro 2020 Star Rejected

Liverpool have reportedly had a mammoth £86 million bid rejected ahead of the new season.

Jurgen Klopp is thought to be interested in signing a world-class forward to play alongside or potentially replace Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

And it has been claimed that the German boss likes the look of Federico Chiesa, who starred for Italy during Euro 2020

In fact, according to Italian paper Repubblica, the Reds tabled a massive offer in hope of luring him to Anfield.

But the report claims Juventus turned down Liverpool’s £86 million bid for Chiesa.

Klopp is believed to have considered the 23-year-old perfect for his 4-3-3 formation.

Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri has refused the sale of Chiesa, with club president Andrea Agnelli backing his manager’s decision.

Chiesa is also reportedly attracting interest from Chelsea, who also had a bid rejected by Juventus.

The Blues inquired about the versatile winger, with Juve declining to enter talks over a move.

Chiesa enjoyed a spectacular Euro 2020 campaign – helping his side win the title against England.

His form during the tournament came after playing brilliantly for Juve last term.

He is set to enter the second season of his two-year loan deal from Fiorentina.

Juve, though, have an obligation to buy him in a deal worth a reported £43 million.
