Manchester United fans were left in shock by the actions of former player Anthony Elanga after he was substituted during the match against Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils experienced their ninth Premier League defeat of the season at the City Ground, with goals from Nicolas Dominguez and Morgan Gibbs-White overturning Marcus Rashford’s strike. Elanga, a former United winger, played a significant role in Forest’s victory by assisting Gibbs-White for the winning goal.
However, United fans were infuriated by Elanga’s behavior after being substituted, and it has sparked considerable reaction and discussion among the fanbase.
After his number was up, the 21-year-old went round the pitch to the dugout, pointing to the Forest badge on his shirt to the crowd.

Taking to Twitter, fans couldn’t believe his actions, with one person tweeting: “Elanga pointing to the Forest badge when he was subbed off is exactly the kind of s***housery I live for.”
Another added: “What’s that Nonsense touching of the badge that Elanga is doing?”
While another furious fan chimed in: “Elanga pointing to the forest badge what a snake.”
However, others were more supportive of the Sweden international.
A third wrote: “Did Elanga point at the badge? If he scored he would have celebrated heavy. Don’t blame him.”
Speaking after the win, goalscorer and Player of the Match award told Sky Sports: “It’s absolutely incredible. The win puts us in such a good position moving forward now. I think the boys have done absolutely incredible.
“We knew Man United’s counter attack was going to be a threat so we trained for that. I think the boys played absolutely brilliant and we deserved the three points.”
