Manchester United have ADDED Kylian Mbappe to their list of transfer targets for next summer, according to sensational reports.
Mbappe has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain potentially on the cards.
Real Madrid are thought to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old phenom, not to mention Man United who have reportedly added him to their list of striker targets.
He’s on the club’s transfer wish-list as they plot a move for a ‘big-name’ forward next summer, according to ESPN.
Mbappe has entered the final year of his PSG contract amid talks of a departure.
He apparently wants to ply his trade at Real, with Man United now in the mix following a busy transfer window.
The Red Devils have snapped up Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane in big-money deals this summer.
Mbappe is on their radar ahead of a potential blockbuster free transfer in 2022.
Edinson Cavani is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of this season, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen on replacing him with an established striker.
The report adds that Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez are also thought to be options.
Man United are wary of Real’s interest in Mbappe and appreciate that a move to the Premier League is the ‘unlikelier’ of the two options if it boils down to a choice between Spain and England.
What’s more, it’s claimed that Mbappe would prefer a switch to the La Liga giants and appears set to stay in Paris for another year.
