Manchester United fans agree ono of their best player have massive declined

Manchester United has expressed concern over Lisandro Martinez’s performance against Brighton and Hove Albion.

On Saturday afternoon, United welcomed Brighton to Old Trafford as Premier League football resumed following the international break.

Brighton took the lead in the 21st minute, courtesy of former Red Devil Danny Welbeck.

United’s summer signing, Rasmus Hojlund, had a goal disallowed by VAR after it was ruled that the ball had gone out of play before Marcus Rashford delivered the cross for Hojlund to tap it home.

Brighton then went 2-0 up in the second half through Pascal Gross before Joao Pedro made it 3-0.

Hannibal Mejbri’s fine effort made it 3-1 but it was another disappointing performance from Erik ten Hag’s men.

The Red Devils were booed off by disgruntled United fans as the final whistle was blown.

During the match, United fans were left worried by the performance of Argentine centre-back Martinez.

Towards the back end of last season, Martinez suffered an injury that ruled him out for the rest of the campaign, and many fans fee he hasn’t been the same player since his return.

A third fan added: “Lisandro Martinez has been awful since he came back. That back 4 is a mess and Casemiro is aging fast.”

Someone else wrote: “Lisandro Martinez isn’t the same player anymore after his injury, hoping he will be back.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “Lisandro Martinez regressed so much since his injury.”

Another fan said: “Lisandro Martinez post injury… uncomfortable conversations.”
