Paul Pogba Is ‘More Than Open’ To Moving To PSG

Paul Pogba could make a huge move to PSG this summer, with the French club having reportedly opened discussions with the midfielder’s representatives.

Pogba put aside all of his worries from playing with Manchester United this summer with his excellent performances during Euro 2020, that have some calling for him to be named Player of the Tournament.

His goal vs Switzerland in the last 16 match did lead to some criticising the 28-year-old, due to his celebration and perceived lack of effort after putting his side 3-1 up, but mostly he’s been free of the criticism he gets in the Premier League.

Those excellent performances may have attracted the attention of Ligue 1 giants PSG, with French outlet RMC claiming the club have opened discussions with the midfielder’s representatives.

The report also claims that the former Juventus midfielder is ‘more than open’ to the idea of moving back to the French capital, having been born in Paris.

Pogba has only one year left on his contract at Old Trafford and, despite an improvement in form last season, there has been constant questions about his future at United.

The club are reportedly ready to make him the Premier League’s highest paid player in order to keep him but there’s no doubting that PSG could match whatever United offer.

Outside of the money, Pogba could be tempted to walk away from all the criticism in England and, having helped France win the World Cup three years ago, he’s likely seen in a better light in his home country.

United may have already found their replacement for Pogba, should he decide to leave, in the shape of Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

The 18-year-old, like his fellow Frenchman, only has one year left on his deal and could walk away from the Ligue 1 side for nothing next summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to add the teenager to his squad this summer, having already all but signed Jadon Sancho and also targeting Raphael Varane.

It could be a massive summer for PSG, with Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Sergio Ramos expected to join alongside Georginio Wijnaldum.

If they add Pogba to the list it could finally be the year Mauricio Pochettino’s side go all the way in Europe…
