Real Madrid President Florentino Perez Calls Jose Mourinho And Cristiano Ronaldo ‘Idiots’ In More Leaked Audio

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been caught in more leaked audio, this time insulting both Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Tuesday, audio from a conversation in 2006 in which Perez insulted two Real legends in Iker Casillas and Raul was leaked in Spanish media.

The Real chief, who had finished his first spell when he called the two legends ‘frauds,’ has now had more audio revealed.

In a conversation recorded from 2012, the 74-year-old called Mourinho, then the club’s manager, and Ronaldo, who was three years into his nine year spell at the Bernabeu, idiots.

“He’s crazy,” Perez was quoted saying about five time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo in, somewhat ironically, El Confidential.

“This guy is an idiot, a sick man. You think this guy is normal, but he’s not normal, otherwise, he wouldn’t do all the things he does.”

The Spaniard might have a point about Ronaldo not being normal, after all you are talking about the club’s all time leading scorer who scored 450 goals in just 438 appearances.

Mourinho, who was less than a year from leaving the Bernabeu, but who had just won La Liga and ended Barcelona’s dominance under Pep Guardiola, was also called an idiot.

“These are guys with a terrible ego, both spoiled, the coach and him, and they don’t see reality,” Los Blancos president Perez said.

“Mourinho is an idiot. It is not that he does not want to play. Well, he’s a bit abnormal. He drives without a license. That said, he has been overwhelmed by the pressure.”

Perez, who was at the centre of the European Super League, but hilariously forgot Tottenham Hotspur when naming the club, had hit back, “Given the news broadcast in El Confidencial, in which phrases attributed to me are reported, I think it is necessary to clarify,” the club said in a statement.

“The reproduced phrases are pronounced in conversations clandestinely recorded by Mr. Jose Antonio Abellan, who has been trying to sell them for many years without success.

“It is surprising now that, despite the time that has elapsed, the newspaper El Confidencial reports them today .

“They are single phrases of conversations taken from the broad context in which they occur.

“For them to be reproduced now, after so many years have passed since those conversations took place, is I understand due to my participation as one of the promoters of the Super League.

“I have put the matter in the hands of my lawyers who are studying the possible actions to take.”

Perez might want to find some friends who don’t record his calls…
