Real Madrid’s Bizarre Gym Sessions Have Gone Viral – Their Horrific Injury Record Makes Sense

New footage of Real Madrid players taking part in exercises has gone viral – with fans hoping it doesn’t lead to injury.

‘Los Blancos’ finished second in La Liga last season and saw their title push ravaged by injuries.

They had a staggering total of 59 throughout the campaign and mixed in with Covid-related issues, that is a seriously depleted squad.

Supporters are now up in arms at a video showing Eden Hazard and Casemiro, among others, taking part in a leg press exercise.

It is believed the exercise helps with explosive movement on the pitch, helping decide games in key moments.

We can all agree it looks a little bit weird can’t we?

Hazard specifically has had a number of injury issues since arriving from Chelsea back in 2019.

The Belgium international has been limited to 30 appearances across two seasons in Spain, a poor return for a Β£100 million investment.

Fans have had their say on Madrid’s training methods and they’re wondering what kind of an impact it has on players.

This summer has seen Madrid part ways with manager Zinedine Zidane and hire Carlo Ancelotti as his replacement.

Legendary captain Sergio Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain after 16 years in the Spanish capital, while Raphael Varane has a deal in principle to join Manchester United.

David Alaba has arrived from Bayern Munich on a free transfer and they continue to be linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe.
