Admiring a mesmerizing compilation of the Russian wonderkid, Manchester United has been informed of the asking price for Sergey Pinyaev.
Pinyaev has consistently held the distinction of being one of Russia’s most promising prospects.
Manchester Evening News reports that United has been monitoring the 18-year-old’s development over time, and he even underwent a trial at Old Trafford before the pandemic hit.
During this trial, the teenager spent several weeks in Manchester and had interactions with the United staff.
Pinyaev has continued to remain a subject of interest for United since then.
The young talent recently made a move to Lokomotiv Moscow from KS Samara, and the manager of the latter club confirmed that there had been active interest from Old Trafford as well.
Despite recently completing his transfer to Lokomotiv Moscow, the player’s name continues to be linked with a potential move elsewhere.
Coinciding with these reports, a compelling compilation has surfaced on YouTube showcasing Sergey Pinyaev’s exceptional performances in the Russian league.
The video, optimistically titled ‘Sergey Pinyaev | Welcome To Manchester United,’ highlights the diminutive left-winger’s remarkable sharpness and precise control, showcasing skills deserving of the ‘wonderkid’ label.
Impressively, Pinyaev displays a level of end-product uncommon for a player his age, as demonstrated in the video below.
Throughout the previous season, he secured a commendable tally of six goals and three assists in 27 matches across all competitions.
Pinyaev asking price
Lokomotiv Moscow’s sporting director was asked on Tuesday what kind of offer would be considered by the club for Pinyaev.
Speaking toSport24, Dmitry Ulyanov said: “In order for the offer to be considered, a super sum must be offered that we cannot refuse. €30million (£25million).”
An obvious stumbling block in any move is that Pinyaev can currently only transfer to other clubs in Russia, with Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine having seen Russian teams banned fromEuropeancompetition.
Any move for Pinyaev to Western Europe in the future could only happen if the war between Russia and Ukraine comes to a resolution.
