Back in February, Sergio Ramos Has Been asked to take a pay cut to Facilitate Real Madrid’s Load of paying Gareth Bale’s Heavy Salary, according to reports in Spain.

According to Diario AS, the Spanish side desired Ramos to decrease his commission bill as Madrid restrain their financing amid the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the Spanish paper included that Los Blancos cannot coincide with the Spanish center-back’s current salary in the club.
Madrid was reportedly hoping that Ramos agreed to reduce his salary, but it looks like he may join another club in the coming months.

Ramos, out of contract at the end of the month, has been linked with a transfer away from Real Madrid in recent weeks, with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain interested.

Former Real manager Zinedine Zidane said in March that he has no idea what Ramos’ future holds.

He said: “I want to be honest and I have to say I don’t know what’s going to happen with him.

“We want him to stay here. He’s always going to be an important player and I want him to remain here, that’s what I’ll say as a coach.”
