Harry Kane and Thomas Tuchel had their first encounter after the England captain’s transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich was finalized.
The negotiations between German Bundesliga champions Bayern and Spurs spanned several weeks as they worked towards a deal to secure Kane’s services.
The agreement on a transfer fee was eventually reached, and Kane’s move to Bayern was officially confirmed on Saturday morning.
The reported value of the transfer that facilitated Kane’s transition from Spurs to Bayern exceeded €100 million.
As he potentially prepared for his debut in the DFL Supercup against RB Leipzig, Kane had his initial meeting with new manager Tuchel, marking a significant moment in his transition to his new club.You can watch the footage below.

Tuchel was heard saying: “He’s here! You made it, I cannot believe it. Finally!”
Kane was heard replying: “I made it. I made it.”
The England international has been named on the bench for the match against Leipzig.
Upon signing for Bayern, Kane said an emotional goodbye to the Spurs fans.
He said: “Hi everyone, I wanted to be the first to tell you Tottenham fans that I will be leaving the club today [Saturday].
“Obviously a lot of emotions going through me right now. Sad to be leaving the club I have spent nearly 20 years of my life at.”

Kane continued: “From an 11-year-old boy to a 30-year-old man now there’s been so many great moments and special memories, memories that I’ll cherish forever.”
On joining Bayern, he said: “I’m very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now.
“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I’ve always said that I want to compete and prove myself at the highest level during my career. This club is defined by its winning mentality – it feels very good to be here.”
