Phil Parkinson’s squad has excelled in the National League, with 97 points accumulated from 39 games.
The momentous clash between Wrexham and Manchester United will occur on July 25 in San Diego, California, as part of United’s initial pre-season tour in America after five years.

Although there are rumors that Manchester United will play against another Premier League team in the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as part of their pre-season tour, the match against Wrexham is particularly fascinating.
The Welsh club made the announcement in a brilliant video featuring their Hollywood star owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, as well as the iconic former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over Wrexham in February 2021, and although the team narrowly missed out on promotion and lost in the FA Trophy final at Wembley, the Hollywood stars have fully embraced the club and the city.
The duo is even set to participate in a new seven-a-side tournament in Cary, Northern California, in June, representing Wrexham.
The upcoming friendly match against Manchester United is a significant event for the club and its owners, and there could be an exciting face-off between Wrexham’s new signing, Ben Foster, who came out of retirement to join the team, and his former employer.
