AS Journalist Andres Onrubia claims that the French giants are still interested in ‘Operation Messi’ and would be forced to sell Kylian Mbappe this summer to materialise the deal.
The French wonderkid has reportedly informed PSG that he won’t extend his deal which expires in 2022.
Therefore, the Parisians will seek a sale for Mbappe and splash the cash on Messi’s wages.

However, Barcelona find themselves short of cash as they try to cope with financial pressures caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The reality of Messi signing a new deal seems unrealistic now that Barcelona have announced the signings of Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia.
