Sergio Ramos rejected offers from Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City in favour of a deal with PSG.
Ramos left Real Madrid earlier this summer after 16 years with the club and had a whole host of suitors.
The veteran defender chose to sign a two-year deal at the Parc des Princes – but a move to England was on the cards.
According to Goal, Ramos snubbed both Arsenal and Manchester City in favour of a deal in the French capital.

A move to north London failed to due to a lack of Champions League football.
Arsenal finished eighth in the Premier League last season and aren’t in any European competition at all.
As for City, the deal would’ve run until 2023. A clause then being that Ramos would’ve moved to the MLS for three years with New York City.
Ramos departed the Bernabeu after failing new agree terms with the Spanish giants. Madrid were reluctant to meet his request for a two-year deal, believing his age would didn’t warrant a contract of such wealth.
Reports circulated that Madrid also wanted Ramos to take a pay cut to £10 million per year.
After signing for the Ligue 1 outfit, Ramos said: “I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi hailed Ramos as a ‘complete player’ and added: “He is a born competitor, a leader and a great professional.”
Ramos took to Instagram and told his new fans: “The best place to keep on dreaming, the best club to keep on winning, we’re going to fight with everything we have for everything.”
Ramos will look to help PSG regain their Ligue 1 crown after coming second last season, behind champions Lille.
